Nearly 25 years have passed since the Kroot made their debut in Warhammer 40K, and while they've been somewhat neglected in recent years, they remain beloved by fans.

The new Hunting Pack box set reintroduces the Kroot to the 10th edition of the game, featuring a variety of models including:

• 20 Kroot Carnivores: Serving as the backbone of the force, these Carnivores bring rustic yet sophisticated weaponry to the battlefield, including the new tanglebomb launcher for added explosive firepower.
• 1 Krootox Rider: These formidable beasts serve as powerful weapons platforms, equipped with repeater cannons and tanglecannons.
• 3 Krootox Rampagers: Younger and more aggressive versions of the Krootox, capable of smashing through enemy lines with devastating charges.
• 1 Flesh Shaper: A revered spiritual leader overseeing the Kroot's carnivorous rituals and ensuring the finest genetic material is preserved for their pack's evolutionary heritage.

Additionally, the box includes the Codex: T’au Empire, containing rules for the miniatures as well as the T’au Empire forces. It also comes with 44 printed cards covering army rules, combat patrols, and datasheets, all housed in a special cardboard slipcase featuring new artwork.

Originating from the forest planet of Pech, the Kroot evolved from flying reptilian creatures. Known for their martial culture and genetic adaptability, they possess the unique ability to absorb the DNA of their prey, incorporating beneficial traits into their own genetic makeup.

Organized into clans known as "Kindred," the Kroot excel in tracking, hunting, and combat. Guided by spiritual leaders called Shapers, they selectively consume prey to guide their evolutionary path.
