In late January, the online community was ignited with speculation surrounding a potential crossover between Warhammer 40K and Call of Duty in an upcoming expansion pack. Code leaks hinted at artwork, icons, and skins, sparking fervent discussion across the internet.
Now, it appears the rumors have been substantiated, with both Games Workshop and the video game publisher confirming the release. Below, we delve into the details.

What Does the Warhammer 40K Call of Duty Expansion Offer?
The Warhammer 40K expansion is set to be part of the Season 2 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on PlayStation and Xbox platforms. It will introduce three new packs available for purchase online.
The first pack revolves around Space Marines, featuring Scout armor Operator Skins from the Ultramarines and Blood Angels. Additionally, players will gain access to new melee weapons, including the iconic chainsword.

The second pack spotlights the Sisters of Battle, offering two Warhammer-themed Weapon Blueprints and various customizations inspired by the legendary Adepta Sororitas.
The third and final pack introduces new skins inspired by the elite Imperial Guard unit, the Kasrkin. It includes a melee weapon modeled after a power blade, along with tracers that emulate the iconic Warhammer 40K las bolts.
Furthermore, a new game mode called "Juggermosh" will be introduced, incorporating additional Warhammer 40K elements.
The crossover of Warhammer 40K into other mediums comes as no surprise. The franchise has been enjoying a resurgence, evident in record sales driven by the release of the 10th edition, the success of the recent Rogue Trader video game, and the anticipation surrounding the upcoming Amazon series starring Henry Cavill. The announcement of Space Marine 2 has also generated significant excitement.
Call of Duty is renowned for its diverse collaborations, having previously partnered with unconventional brands like rapper Nicki Minaj and, more recently, The Boys TV series. The franchise has also ventured into crossover territory with Diablo III, a game known for its grimdark aesthetic.
