The 3 Player Teams Tournament for Warhammer 40K with a 2,000 point event! Compete in 5 games on Saturday and Sunday.

Each team must have a team name and consist of 3 players. To promote diversity and prevent repetition of units or strategies, players must choose a different faction and codex  for each player.

The players for each team must choose a different faction and a different codex. This encourages diversity and prevents teams from having too much of the same unit or strategy.

This means you can only have one of each of these across all 3 players with Astartes supplements sub-factions all counting as space marines:

Space Marines, Grey Knights, Adeptus Custodes, Adeptus Mechanicus, Adepta Sororitas, Sisters of Silence, Questor Imperialis, Inquisition, Officio Assassinorum, Astra Militarum, Necrons, T'au Empire, Tyranids, Genestealer Cult, Craftworld Eldar/Harliquins, Drukhari, Heretic Astartes, Chaos Daemons, Questor Traitoris, Deathguard, Thousand Sons, and Orks.

Player Pairings

Before each round 10mins has been allotted for the following process to be completed:

The first round is random pairings, with the following 2 rounds being swiss pairing

Teams are paired against each other. This method should be used to decide which player plays each other:

1. Team captains roll off to decide Team A and Team B

2. Both captains secretly note down their first "Defender" - this should be the player must able to take on any opponent - then reveal them at the same time

3. Team A picks one of their remaining 2 players to play vs Team B's defender.

4. Team B then does the same by picking one of their players to play A's defender.

5. The remaining 2 players play vs each other
