Savage Hammer one Day RTT - The Siege of Vraks
Charles Simons, Ken Chambers, and Jonny Simmons from Team SAWhammer were some of the standout players, showing off their skills and wits. However, winning wasn't the only thing that mattered. We were thrilled to see sportsmanship and camaraderie being valued, and Nicolas Verdino was recognized as the Most Sporting Player. We also celebrated Charles Walton's birthday, who despite receiving the Wooden Spoon award, still had a great time.
As the sun began to set, tensions rose for the final game, where Jonny Simmons emerged as the champion, securing his spot as a Warhammer 40,000 legend. But what made this tournament so special was the sense of community and friendship that was shared by everyone. We recognized players for their outstanding behavior, best-painted army, and the Savage Slayer award for the player who caused the most destruction on the tabletop.
As the tournament came to an end, there was a bittersweet feeling, as we were sad to see it end but excited for the next event. We were proud of everyone who participated and made this tournament an absolute success. The Siege of Vraks was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to do it all over again. Who knows, maybe you will be the next Savage Slayer or Most Sporting Player! Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.
After a full day of intense battles, the results were in for the Warhammer 40,000 tournament. Jonny Simmons emerged as the champion, securing the top spot with his formidable Adeptus Mechanicus army. Ken Chambers' Tau army took second place with their stealthy tactics, and Charles Simons' clever moves earned him third place.
But the tournament wasn't just about the winners. Nicolas Verdino was recognized as the Most Sporting Player for his positive attitude and sportsmanship throughout the day. And even those who didn't fare as well on the tabletop, like Charles Walton who received the Wooden Spoon award, still had a great time and enjoyed the camaraderie of the community.
